With a dealer network well into the 1000s, it’s important to have a single source of merchandise for their stores. While a catalog already existed, I was tasked with updating the current one to make things easier to find.
I didn’t start from scratch, but I did focus on creating a layout that utilized varying columns and white space. I also established a consistent product description across all items. At the end of the day, people want to know how to get it and how much it cost. Each product description clearly states the part number needed to order and the cost. I also created the cover image in Photoshop utilizing a photo of a merch item as well as an overhead shot of a mower. It’s meant to simulate a striking image of a dealer showroom floor.
